Šaleška Panoramic Route - Three Lakes

Short description:
- 1600m descent, 500m ascent by bike, 1000m ascent by gondola or shuttle transfer.
Tour itinerary:
- Start at the micro-location of the service provider for guided tours and rentals. Option for transfer from the accommodation location.
- Ride a bike to Radegunda, where we ascend from 500 meters above sea level to 1410 meters above sea level using the cable car.
- Welcome to Mozirska Koča.
- Ride a bike across Mozirska Planina to the extinct volcanic mountain range Smrekovec.
- Mountain breakfast: žganci (corn mush) + sour milk or žganci + mushroom soup at the mountain hut Roma on Smrekovec.
- The route continues to the hut on Slemen, where we try the local blueberry strudel. Option to take the gravel road (variant 1 - easier) or the singletrack through the forest (variant 2 - more difficult).
- We continue on gravel and asphalt roads above 1000 meters with fascinating views towards the Šalek Valley, with views of the three lakes of the Velenje lignite mine, towards the Rdečnik farm, where a local farmer's platter awaits us.
- After a snack at the farm, descend into the Velunja stream valley, across Gaberke by Velenje lake to Vista Park and Velenje Beach. A dip in the lake, beer or pizza... or all together, as desired.
- Ride the bike back to the starting point.
Each participant signs a statement agreeing to the terms and instructions of the guides.
In the statement, the user entrusts us with an e-mail address to which we can send him a letter of thanks and a Printee photo book of the adventure after the experience is over.
